Fire Restriction

April 23, 2024

Effective immediately, April 23rd, 2024, a Fire Restriction is in place in all of Mountain View County. The Fire Restriction is in place until further notice. Get more info: Fire Restriction

Cremona FCSS & Admin Office Closure

December 14, 2023

Cremona FCSS & Admin Office will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan 1, 2024. Back to regular business hours January 2, 2024.

Village Council Meeting

December 12, 2023

The next Village Council meeting is on December 19th at 7 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm for coffee and conversation. Council meetings are held in Chambers at 106 1st Ave E.

Library Holiday Hours

November 23, 2023

Cremona Municipal Library Holiday schedule: Closed Monday, December 25, 2023 to Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Re-opening Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10 am.

Resignation of Councillor Thompson

With the resignation of Councillor Thompson, the Village of Cremona will be having a Byelection held for February 6, 2024.

What's New In Cremona?

  • The Village Of Cremona Bulk Water Filling Station is now open. To use the new filling station please contact the Village Office to set up an account and PIN number. Existing accounts can be set up by calling 403-637-3762. All new accounts must be set up in person by company proprietor during regular office hours.

  • Are you interested in volunteering with seniors? Bethany Didsbury is currently recruiting for compassionate volunteers to support a variety of programs within the Bethany Didsbury building. If you would like any further information on how you can become involved, please contact Cora Schneberger, Coordinator Volunteer Services at 403-335-4775.

  • The Village of Cremona is offers E-billing and Preauthorized billing program. We invite you to enroll to receive your monthly utility billing via e-mail or direct debit from your bank account. Details on our Community Services-Utilities page.

  • If you live in the Alberta Forest Protection Area within Mountain View County you require a provincial permit to conduct a burn. Fire Ban information can be obtained on the Mountain View County website.

  • The Village of Cremona uses Can Pak Environmental for their Solid Waste Pick-up Services. Services include Curbside Single Stream Blue Bin Recycling, and Curbside Green Bin Composting.
