Municipal Area Partnership
The Municipal Area Partnership is a diverse group of unique and independent communities in Mountain View County, including the Village of Cremona. They work together to provide a great place to reside, work, play and grow in a safe and healthy environment, while enhancing economic development, leading to prosperity and sustainability for all. The MAP Committee is an advisory board to the member municipalities. They provide recommendations to each of the six participating councils for their consideration. The Committee is intended to enhance the process relative to issues of a regional nature. At the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA)
Convention in Calgary in November 2009, MAP received the Minister's Outstanding Achievement Award under the Innovation category. Terms of Reference |
